My wedding journey started back in 2008 when I started planning my own wedding. We got married in August 2009 and we had the most perfect day! I have always been quite creative and due to us having a tight budget I found myself making and creating a lot of the decor we had set out on the day. It was a busy year that year - I was in my 3rd year of uni, we'd bought a house which we were renovating and I was working part-time but the wedding planning offered some much needed relief from all of that (believe it or not) and I absolutely loved it!
After making my own wedding flowers I soon started having requests from my friends to make their flowers, and then requests from their friends and family and so on! At this point I had graduated and was working full-time but my love for all things weddings never left. I took the plunge and invested in some chair covers and sashes and began to dress weddings on a weekend. In 2017 I was made redundant from my job (I don't think they'd ever seen someone so happy to be made redundant!) and I then invested some of the money I was given into buying my beautiful wooden LOVE letters. From there my business just grew and grew! I have built up some wonderful relationships with some amazing venues and suppliers which has been such a blessing. I have now decided to focus my attention on the decor items rather than making bouquets but if it's flowers you're after I know a whole load of fabulous florists who can help!
I feel so incredibly lucky to be working in the wedding industry. It's hard work but I don't think I could do anything else now. I really do have a passion for what I do and this is definitely reflected in the quality of my work. I am a perfectionist and therefore I always take care to make sure that every sash is sitting neatly on a chair, every lantern is polished, every sign is written carefully and ultimately every couple has a smile on their faces at the end of the day!
I am based in Malvern and generally travel up to an hour from this location. I offer free delivery and set up within a 25 mile radius of WR13. For venues outside of this, travel costs will apply.
